There are two ways to get a COREBIZS account:
- An owner creates a business on the sign-up page (see the next section).
- Staff are invited by email: see Accept an invitation to a business.
Create a free business
- Open the admin's
/signuppage, or press Create a business for free on the Sign in screen. - Enter the Shop or business name. Customers see this name in the chat.
- Enter Your name and the Email you use every day.
- Choose a Password of at least 10 characters. A memorable phrase of your own works well.
- Read and tick the box agreeing to the Terms of Service and the Data Processing Agreement.
- Press Create business. The screen changes to Check your email.

The new business is on the Free plan; no card is needed.
If the password is too easy to guess (too common, contains your email or business name, or is a repeated pattern), the screen says so under the password box. Choose another one.
Sign-up may not be open yet. The page then shows Self-service sign-up opens soon and a Leave your details button. Press it to fill in the consultation form; COREBIZS calls you back and sets up the business with you.
Confirm your email
- Open your inbox and find the email Confirm your email to start using COREBIZS.
- Press the Confirm email button in the email. The link works for 48 hours.
- The screen says Email confirmed. Press Sign in.
No email?
- Look in Spam or Promotions and wait a few minutes.
- Press Send email again on the Check your email screen. Each address gets at most one email of the same kind every 15 minutes.
- Typed the wrong email: press Wrong email? Sign up again.
If the link expired or was already used, the page says This link does not work. Enter your email and press Send a new link.
An account that is never confirmed is deleted after 7 days. You then sign up again from the start.
If the email already has an account, you get the email Your email already has a COREBIZS account instead of a confirmation. Sign in with that account.
- Open the admin and enter your Email and Password.
- Press Sign in.
- If the account uses two-step verification, enter the code from your phone (see below).
Common messages:
- Wrong email or password: check capital letters and your keyboard language, then try again.
- Email not confirmed: press Send confirmation again, open the email and press the link.
- Forgot your password: press Forgot password? and follow resetting your password.
Two-step verification
Two-step verification means that each time you sign in, you also enter 6 digits from an app on your phone. Someone with your password still cannot get in.
Who must turn it on:
- Owner, Manager, Assistant editor: required. On your first sign-in, the app takes you to the set-up screen and lets you do nothing else first.
- Staff: recommended. Required if the owner has turned on the rule for all staff. The home screen shows a reminder with a Turn it on button; you can also turn it on under Account security.
First-time set-up
- First install a free authenticator app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
- On the Protect your account with a verification code screen, enter your password again and press Start.
- Step 1: Scan the code: in the authenticator app, choose to add an account ("+") and scan the QR code. If you can't scan, press Copy key and type the key into the app.
- Step 2: Enter the code shown in the app: enter the 6 digits under "COREBIZS" and press Turn on verification.
- Step 3: Keep your backup codes: the screen shows 10 backup codes. Press Copy all codes and keep them somewhere safe, or print them. This page will not show them again.
- Press I've saved them, go to the admin.

Backup codes are for when you lose your phone; each works once. See Lost phone.
Each time you sign in
- After your password, the screen shows Enter your verification code.
- Open the authenticator app, type the 6 digits shown into 6-digit code and press Confirm.
- On your own phone or computer you may tick Don't ask for a code on this device for 30 days. Never tick it on a shared device.
The code changes every 30 seconds; enter the one showing now. After too many wrong codes, the account is locked for about 15 minutes.
Choose a business
If your account works for more than one business, you see Choose a business after signing in.
- Press the business you want to view. Under its name is your role in that business.
- To switch later: go to Account and press Switch business.
The device remembers the business you chose last time.
Accept an invitation to a business
The owner or a manager invites you by email (how to invite: see Staff).
- Open the email Invitation to work at An Bakery on COREBIZS (with your business's name instead of "An Bakery").
- Press Accept the invitation. The link works for 7 days and only once.
- The invitation page shows the business name, your role and the invited email. Then:
- No account yet: enter Your name, a password, the password again, tick the agreement to the terms, and press Create account and accept. Then sign in with the invited email.
- Already have an account: press Sign in to accept, sign in, then press the join button (for example Join An Bakery).
- If the role needs two-step verification, the app walks you through turning it on (about 2 minutes).
Once you join, the owner and managers of the business see your name, your email and whether you use two-step verification.
Don't want to join: press Decline, or ignore the email. No account is created.
If the page says This invitation can no longer be used, it expired, was already used or was cancelled. Ask the person who invited you to press Send again. If you already accepted earlier, just sign in.
